王国道（王敏德 饰）为了调查一宗连环杀人案件，隐姓埋名来到一家画廊卧底，成为了那里的一名店员。画廊的主人是一位名叫梁宇凤（梁铮 饰）的女子，梁宇凤告诉王国道，自己有一个名叫梁宇凰的姐姐，但王国道认为，梁宇凰只是梁宇凤幻想出来的分裂人格，而她自己正是实行这一连串凶杀案的罪魁祸首。
为了逃脱罪名，梁宇凤催眠了自己的心理医生黄佛洛（陈国邦 饰），迫使他自首。就在一切都如同梁宇凤所设计的那样顺利的进行之际，王国道查出了梁宇凰的真实身份，她在很多年前在国外遭人杀害，而这也是梁宇凤犯下诸多罪行的真正原因。
